From personal productivity
to capabilities that change how a function operates.

Executive workshop · 07.29.26 · MONTERREY, NL
One day to explore what becomes possible when AI moves beyond chat and starts transforming end-to-end processes.
See you in
The session starts at 9:00 AM sharp.
The experience
We are here to ask a bigger question: what would we design differently if AI had existed from the start?
From personal productivity
to capabilities that change how a function operates.
From automating steps
to questioning why those steps exist at all.
From a list of ideas
to a prioritized initiative ready to move forward.

The goal for the day
We will test a different way of thinking, review initiatives tailored to Metalsa's needs, and end the day with clear priorities, champions, and next steps.
The day
We will move from context to practice, then turn the day's discussion into a clear decision about where Metalsa should begin.
A note on breaks: A short break is scheduled for 11:30 AM. We will not pause for 10 minutes every hour, but feel free to step out whenever you need to take a call or a moment.
| Time | Session | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Check-in & coffee | Arrive, grab a coffee, and connect with the group before we begin. | |
| Opening message from the CEO & welcome from Eduardo | Why this work matters now, what we expect from everyone in the room, and what we need to decide. | |
| Metalsa AI strategy recap | An overview of two priorities: AI-by-design transformation and a sandbox designed to accelerate time to market. | |
| Acueducto keynote | AI-First: From Chat Tools to Process Redesign. Enterprise case studies, operating models, and the shift from personal productivity to process transformation. | |
| The Metalsa perspective with Eduardo Gonzalez & Marco Valverde | A discussion of how the AI-first approach applies to Metalsa's processes, priorities, and initiatives, followed by Q&A. | |
| Sandbox | Marco introduces the Sandbox initiative and shares an Explorer example. | |
| Break | Coffee, fruit, water, and a chance to reset before the guest panel. | |
| Guest panel | A candid conversation with Nicolás Rodríguez from Kavak and Karim Touma from DeAcero about the decisions, mistakes, and results involved in building AI-first organizations. | |
| Case workshop | Teams work through a Metalsa case prepared in advance, compare the current process with an AI-native alternative, and develop a shared framework for evaluating impact. | |
| Lunch | A chance to connect with people from across the group. This is not a working session. | |
| Initiative presentations | Each team presents its initiative, measurable outcome, required capabilities, feasibility, readiness, dependencies, champions, and next step. | |
| Voting | Participants vote, explain their rationale, and the final decision-maker selects the initiative that moves forward. | |
| Roadmap & next steps | Identify champions and owners, agree on initial commitments, and set a date for the next initiative review. | |
| Closing | Networking and final conversations as we wrap up the day. |
Lessons from the field
We will discuss transformation as it really happens: difficult decisions, hard-earned lessons, and questions with no easy answers.

The practical details

Yes. The day alternates among short presentations, group discussion, and hands-on work. Eduardo and the Acueducto team will circulate among the tables during the exercise.
No. Although you may be used to taking a 10-minute break every hour, this workshop will follow a different schedule. A short break is scheduled for 11:30 AM; if you need to take a call or step away for a moment, feel free to do so and return when ready.
The prioritized initiative will advance to a kickoff session, where its champions, sponsors, owners, and success metrics will be confirmed. The workshop marks the beginning of the work.
